Quick Identification Series – QUIDS

This series of four-page supplements to the QNC News was begun in 1994, and intended as a simple key to aid in identification. Each part of QUIDS takes a small group of species, families or even orders and presents the key features for their identification in as simple and clear a manner as possible. Illustrations are included as a further aid. Produced in A5 format they have been combined in a ring folder to take on field excursions. Those included in this compilation are:
