Meeting details: We will meet at the Binna Burra carpark for a 9.00am start. It is a nearly a two hour drive from Brisbane City, depending on traffic of course.
Details of excursion: We will walk the Caves’ Track which is close to Binna Burra Lodge starting at 0900. See info about the walk here: Caves Track Walk – Binna Burra. According to the website, this is a circuit walk, starting and finishing at the same location. Images from the walk are shown on the right.
There will be a focus on fungi but with a keen eye/ear for other naturalist fields.
What to bring: Bring morning tea and lunch, plenty of water and insect repellent as well as the usual basics for a day walk.
