Club Meeting 16 September – Members Night and Photo Competition

Every year QNC devotes one meeting night to Members’ night. There will be no formal presentations although members are welcome to bring along and discuss exhibits of interest. 

The meeting will include the annual Photo Competition for the 2025 calendar, member short talks/exhibits, QNC website promotion and the library books sale (as previously advised). A social supper will be provided after the meeting.

Photo Competition 2025 Calendar

Club members are invited to submit photos from any past QNC outing or activity for the 2025 QNC Calendar Photo Competition.

Entries (maximum 4 per person) should be emailed to sdoug7405@gmail.com and include species, location, and date taken in the email. Please name the file with your surname and a short description, for example, Smith_littlecorella. This assists with collation of the entries. Submissions will be accepted up to 5pm on the Friday (13th September) before the meeting. Photos will be printed to A4 size and displayed at the meeting on Monday 16th, with members present voting on the aesthetic and natural history merit of submitted photos. Council’s decision about inclusions in the calendar is final.

Members submitting photos agree that the Club may use their photos for the 2025 calendar, or in the newsletter, or on the QNC website, Facebook, or Instagram. The photographer will be credited, and copyright remains with the photographer.
