The Queensland Naturalist is the official journal of The Queensland Naturalists' Club Inc., which publishes original articles on a wide range of natural history subjects. Preference is given to contributions on Queensland natural history and to contributors from the Club. Papers should not normally exceed eight printed pages. At the Editor's discretion, longer papers may be accepted. All scientific papers are peer refereed.
Advice to contributors Manuscripts are accepted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are being offered only to The Queensland Naturalist at this time. They must be typed, double-spaced, with two copies submitted. For the first draft, authors are encouraged to submit electronic copy (IBM compatible computer disk), in addition to the corrected typescript. Refer to a recent issue of the Queensland Naturalist for layout and style. Journal titles in the "References" should be given in full and not abbreviated. |
